Getting the kitty to sleep with me?

So, I have a two year old, Russian blue half I do believe, his name is Sylvester, and I would like for him to start sleeping with me, I feel unsafe and unsecure without something there with me, so what are some ways I can get him to start sleeping with me? I’m now laying his ‘blankie’ a really soft pruple blanket next to the bed and letting him lay down, but what can I do to have him sleepq uietly though the night?

Keep him awake and active from the time you get home to the time that you go to bed. You’ll wear him out and he’ll be ready for bed when you are….hopefully he’ll also sleep through the night. This is how I got my kitten to sleep through the night without bothering me, and she and I sleep peacefully together almost every night. Sometimes she snuggles up next to my body, and sometimes she curls up on my back.

She also wakes me up with kisses on my face every morning for work! It’s not too fun on the weekends though….
